Whistler!  Skiing!  Sushi!

 “Tokyo Tom” first came to Canada in the late 1960’s and established his reputation as a professional freestyle skier along with Wayne Wong.  He went on to earn his CSIA IV, the highest level as a ski professional while honing his culinary skills as a sushi chef in his restaurants in Jasper, Big White and since 1997  in Whistler, BC.

KA-ZE is the culmination of his passion for Whistler, skiing and Sushi!   But for Tom, KA-ZE is more than just the art of Japanese cuisine as patrons become personal friends with a shared passion for skiing and fine food.  Tom has travelled the world to taste the best and distills all these experiences for his guests in the presentations at  KA-ZE

Sourcing only the finest ingredients, Tom and his staff craft exclusive choices from the signature Kamikaze Roll, to exotic Blue Fin Tuna sashimi, to finish with Matsusaka Beef in your choice of Sukiyaki, Shabu Shabu, or stone grill barbeque “Ishiyaki”.
